A ride in the country

I took the Guzzi Stelvio out for a ride in the country early this a.m. to beat the oncoming heat.

The Loess Hills of Iowa are the best roads in this area so I find my self going back there often. This morning was great as there was almost no traffic on these nice country roads surrounded by farm fields and bluffs.

I really wanted to get a feel for any changes in the Stelvio now that I have installed the re-mapped Guzzitech ecu in the bike.

For certain the bikes pulls more strongly and displays a "snappier" response right off idle. It really charges forward and I was surprised how quickly I was able to hit the ton (100 mph).

It's a pretty nimble bike, especially for such a big bike. I was able to hustle it through curves there with posted limits of 35-40 mph at 75-80 mph with great confidence.
