Stelvio turn signal conversion

Over in Europe the Stelvio's turn signals are integrated into the fairing. For some reason over here in the USA (probably due to the NHTSA), they painted over the turn signal lenses in the fairing and integrated them into the mirrors.

Only prollem is the mirrors are crap! They have so much vibration they are near worthless due to their design. Many guys are buying Moto Guzzi 1200 Sport mirrors as replacements (MUCH better) and converting over to the Euro-style turn signals which are integrated into the fairing.

I did so recently. I bought a couple cheap little sockets and some amber single filament bulbs from NAPA auto parts, used rubbing alcohol to remove the silver paint from the turn signal lenses and a little while later, voila, all wired up and ready for action!
