The Spider went to European Motor Service in Longwood, FL today for a valve adjustment. Paul, one of the mechanics there, did the deed and did it well! He's from Great Britain. Very nice fella.
The engine sounds so much better now. He found one of the exhaust valves to be waaaay out of spec. She runs smoother and feels a bit more spritely now as well.
Here's a little video of the motor running. Compare it to the previous engine sounds HERE. You will hear a very pronounced ticking sound in the older video which was the out of adjustment exhaust valve. Filmed in Woozy-vision.....

It does sound better but watching it made me dizzy. Maybe you and cpj could rig up a gyro-stabilizer for the camera.
